Console game ability select and HUD

Info: Fictional console game UI creasted as a personal project. Based on the challenge brief from Ubisoft Toronto NEXT 2019. Character render by Ann Grin.

CITIES: SKYLINES UI REDESIGN (2019)

PC in-game UI and main menu

Info: Being a fan of Cities: Skylines, I wanted to try my own take on the game's main menu and in-game UI, attempting to make information more clear and increase the player's view of their city.

Retrospect: This was a particularly interesting challenge as city builders typically display a lot of info. I would probably try to add more style to the white panels at the bottom of the HUD. However, as a player, this doesn't bother me.

GAMELOFT UI ARTIST TEST (2019)

Mobile game shop and HUD

Info: As a candidate for a UI Artist position, I was tasked with creating the HUD and shop of a given mobile game concept.

Retrospect: Further treatment for the resource icons is very much needed, in addition to streamlining them to the progress bars, separating them from the button style. That being said, more consistency is needed amoung buttons (particularly between the shop and HUD).
